Some Kudos for the Leadership Team!

"Thank you so much for bringing our class together. I felt we bonded in a very profound way. Our life journeys have made us open to this reconnection. I hope we can keep it going with the mini-reunions.  I would also like to volunteer to help in any way I can."
Judith Frank Danzoll

"Here are some pics that I took last weekend. What a great reunion!! Dary has spent hours going over the class book you sent and last night told me how happy she was that we went for the whole weekend.

You and the other ladies who put this all together did a really nice job!  We are looking forward to the 55th.

For Dary and myself,  thank you very much."

Russ Coleman and Darien Armstrong Cousens

"What a wonderful weekend we shared together at Wheaton.  I am still "sifting" through some of the activities, seeing faces of classmates and realizing what a tremendous amount of work was put forth to make it all a reality."                                                                Margo Jamison Sisson

"We are all in unending praise for what a wonderful reunion you and your team put together."                                                                    Susan Henry Burnett

"It was truly a wonderful weekend.  Thanks to all of you for all your efforts, it certainly paid off.  I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

The afternoon Tea and Conversation was such a good idea - to say that we enjoyed it doesn't seem quite correct, given how painful some of the conversation was, but I was glad that I was there.  I hadn't necessarily articulated the thought before, but after hearing what everyone said, I have decided that resilience must be one of the absolutely necessary qualities no matter who or where we are.

And wasn't dinner on Saturday evening just delicious.  I wasn't expecting the college to prepare such a terrific dinner.  It was worth eating anywhere.  And the music was a treat. . . at some point Eli and I decided we were ready to call it an evening, but on the way back to Beard there was music in Emerson, so we slipped in and crashed the '81 dance party for a few minutes.  What a good time!"

Gail Travis Guillet

"What a mighty project this reunion was, and leaves us all with very good feelings about each other and about being part of this class."      Lee Selling Glenn

"Bill and I both thought the reunion was wonderful and so very well run. Please pass our kudos on to your 1961 leadership team and to all those Wheaton employees who were such a great help."         Frannie Vincent Rich

"It was great from beginning to end!  I enjoyed the lectures AND Tea and Conversation (didn't think I would).  The food was delicious and the weather finally cooperated.  Thanks for ALL your hard work." Susie McKinnon Paxson

"Thanks again so very much for your superb leadership and for providing me with a bit of magic."                                                   Mary Yeager Moore

"I had such a wonderful time at the Reunion…I can’t begin to say how much it meant to me to be able to be there.  Rooming with Fran and being with Marti was like old times – we laughed, we talked, we reminisced and it was beyond my expectations."                              Debbie Dillingham Green

"It was a wonderful weekend and passed too quickly. Everything was so well planned;  I can't imagine that anyone could find fault with a single thing!

I only wish that my roomies, Linda Robin and Carla Nobili, had been able to be there.  I know they would have had a great time, too.   Thanks again for all the big and little things you have done over all these years.  You have done a wonderful job!”
Susan Stearns Scott

"Didn't we have FUN last weekend...I'm still in a glow!"
