Class of 1956 Homepage
May 14
Good news: We have 3 more coming, so the total is now 23, and hopefully a few more will register
between now and then. This is my last post, so we'll be surprised by whoever else shows up!
Obviously your sun dances/mantras helped: as of today, only a 40% chance of showers for Fri. and
Sat., with sunny weather for Sun., for those of us who are staying overnight. Keep chanting and see
you soon!
May 6
Guess I'll be seeing some of you in 2 weeks - and the long-range weather forecast has not improved.
Better start doing your sun dances and chanting your sun mantras.
Check out the current list of who's coming - 3 more added last week!
April 29
Yes, it's only 3 weeks now ...and we have 17 registered, so contact your
old former friends, classmates, and roommate and encourage them to come.
I don't particularly care for the long-range weather forecast for Norton, so I'll look again next week.

Only 4 weeks to go! Check out the links on the right hand side -
Alumnae Weekend gives the latest information and schedules for the whole weekend,
Who's Coming lists those who are planning to attend
And ... Reunion News gives a message from Sid about class activities on Saturday. (to return to the 1956 class pages from the Alumnae Weekend web page, use the "back" command in your browser. Other pages will list the links for the 1956 pages.)
March 16
Surprise - check out the Alumnae Weekend link on the right side of this page to see what events are planned, where to park, and what to do with the (grand)kids. Sid and I just received this information via email today. Our class will be assigned a dorm if you wish to stay on campus; as soon as that is finalized, you'll find the information (somewhere) here.
Until we meet again, pax vobiscum.

Well, your class officers have met and discussed the reunion, and Sid
has organized a conference call, where we all managed to remember
everyone's name, even the voices. Our chief discussion was about convincing
as many people as possible to attend: one never knows what the future
will bring (on the west coast, we did live through a tsunami...). As
information comes in, I will keep these pages updated, in the meantime,
please send me an email and let me know if you are even looking at my
feeble efforts, and if you have any pictures you'd like to post here,
I'll create a special link. (I understand some of you are somewhat
reluctant to set up your own profiles and passwords - so these pages
will be public; check out Sid's recent letter. (coming soon.....)

Cheers, any soul who has made it this far to the Class of 1956 Home page!
My
dear friend Sid, classmate and Chem Major in '56, has stretched our
friendship to the limit, and asked me to maintain these pages.
With the help of a very patient Wheaton Alum techie, Becky Fernandes, I attempted to do just that. I wrote a magnificent welcoming speech, and attempted to insert a photo from our 50th reunion.
I finally got it in, and have even (in the past 4 months) managed to add a few more links and some information about our upcoming reunion the weekend of May 20-22.
