The Alumnae/i Association’s Nominating Committee is seeking to fill several key volunteer leadership positions on the Alumnae/i Board of Directors. Nominations are open now through October 3 for the positions listed below which will take effect next fall.
Qualifications
An interest in serving the College as a volunteer leader, prior volunteer leadership experience, either at Wheaton or another non-profit organization, the ability to think broadly and strategically about the opportunities and challenges facing the Association and the College today, an interest in connecting with other alumnae and alumni who serve the College with their time and talents…these are among the qualifications required of these positions.

Available Volunteer Positions
Alumnae/i Trustee
Serves for a five year term on the Alumnae/i Board and the College’s Board of Trustees, working with other members of the Boards to advance the strategic mission of the Association and College. Click here to read more about this mission.
Association President
Serves a three year term on the Alumnae/i Board of Directors, providing volunteer leadership to all activities of the Association and serve as an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees. Build and sustain strong relationships with the Wheaton family especially alumnae/i. The President is the primary ambassador for the College and Association and as such is a constant advocate for both.
National Regional Chair
Serves a three year term on the Alumnae/i Board of Directors, working to provide volunteer leadership to all regional volunteers and activities. Helps to plan events and to gain feedback, thank and recognize volunteers, and target and identify new volunteers in established regions.
National Class Officer Chair
Serves a three year term on the Alumnae/i Board of Directors, working with staff to provide training for officers, promote class unity and improve communication between class officers.
Director-at-Large for Career Services
Serves a three year term on the Alumnae/i Board of Directors, working with staff, especially in Career Services, to develop and support opportunities to connect alumnae/i and students for purposes of mentoring and professional development.
