Alumnae/i Board of Directors Volunteer Leadership Positions

The Alumnae/i Association’s Nominating Committee is seeking to fill several key volunteer leadership positions on the Alumnae/i Board of Directors. Nominations are open now through the end of October for the positions listed below which will take effect next fall.

Qualifications

An interest in serving the College as a volunteer leader, prior volunteer leadership experience, either at Wheaton or another non-profit organization, the ability to think broadly and strategically about the opportunities and challenges facing the Association and the College today, an interest in connecting with other alumnae and alumni who serve the College with their time and talents…these are among the qualifications required of these positions.

Available Volunteer Positions

Alumnae/i Trustee
Serves on the Alumnae/i Board and the College’s Board of Trustees, working with other members of both Boards to advance the strategic mission of the College today.

National LGBT Chair
Serves on the Alumnae/i Board and is an advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered alumnae and alumni.  Works with other volunteers to provide programming and support to all members of the Wheaton LGBT community.

National Wheaton Fund Chair
Serves on the Alumnae/i Board and provides leadership and strategic direction to the Wheaton Fund, working with staff to support all Wheaton Fund volunteers.
 
Director at Large - Young Alums
Serves on the Alumnae/i Board and is an advocate for young alum programs and volunteers.
